From the Pews in the Back: Young Women and Catholicism (Liturgical Press, 2009) is a set of essays edited by Kate Dugan and Jennifer Owens. Several of the essay authors will be on hand at this presentation to read briefly from their essays and share some reflections. Among the authors present will be: Kate Henley Averett (who earned her M. Div. at Harvard and works as a choreographer in Cambridge); Jessica Coblentz (a student at the Harvard Divinity School who currently heads up the Paulist Center’s young adult ministry); Elizabeth Duclos-Orsello (a Paulist Center Community member and professor at Salem State University); Kate Barch Heaton (who coordinates service projects for high school students and studies theology and ministry at Boston College): and Margaret Scanlon (who earded an MTS at Weston Jesuit School of Theology and now teaches theology at Boston College High School).
There is no fee for this event. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
